Hospice Care is Designed to Bring Comfort

Hospice provides a quality of life to patients diagnosed with 6 months or less to live. An interdisciplinary team of medical professions, including a physician, nurse, chaplain, social worker and volunteer work together to ensure that the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of the patient are met. Hospice is available 24 hours a day, seven days wherever the patient calls home, whether it be in the patient's own home, a skilled nursing facility, assisted living facility, board and care or a hospital.

Compassion and Care When You Need it Most

The Spencer Hospice Foundation is a community based organization that works to enhance the lives of terminally ill patients and their families, and provide education in end-of-life care. We assist patients with needs that reach beyond the scope of what medical insurances will cover by providing small things that will make a BIG difference in enhancing the quality of life. Our services are available to all hospice patients and professionals, regardless of age, race, ethnicity, religion, illness or physical location.

  • Our services are available to all hospice patients
  • We are a community-based nonprofit organization
  • Our services are provided free of charge
  • Our organization is led by volunteers
  • All donations are tax deductable

As a nonprofit organization, the benefits provided by the Spencer Hospice Foundation reach far and wide. Since 2005, the generosity of donors like you has enabled us to perform miracles. Because of your kindness, we help hundreds of patients each year by granting a final wish or lending a helping hand to patients in need of financial assistance. Learn more >>
